Do you love garlic, but often regret eating it the next morning? You know, your mouth tastes like a pepperoni ash-tray? This simple trick will make garlic super yummy and ready in no time.

You don't need to use the entire pan or even very much oil if you have a gas stove like pictured above. Use the corner of the pan to find a spot to tilt your pan to use less oil. BE SMART!!! Oil plus flame equals trouble. Don't burn your house down

Poached Garlic in Oil

Yes, it's really this simple. Grab 4 to 5 cloves of garlic and put them in the smallest pan you can find and just cover them in oil, light olive oil is great for this. Set to the lowest simmer you can on your stove and let it goe for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Re-use the Oil

Once the garlic is a golden brown and soft, check with the back of a spoon, it's ready to use. It will be sweet and brimming with great garlic flavor and the aftertaste will have vanished. #poachedgarlic will be your new favorite ingredient. Bonus! Oil is now infused with garlic flavor, so use that to cook your next protein or soup it will add another subtle back note to your next culinary symphony.
